Property owners are required to obtain a 911 address from our office, the Austin County Emergency Communications District. We work closely with Austin County Planning and Development and the Austin County Appraisal District.
The Austin County Planning and Development Department issues permits for property development, culvert installation, and septic permits. Please call the department at 979-865-5911 Ext. 5110 or 5111. It is located at the courthouse in Bellville, 1 E. Main St.
